GoodTime's core scheduling algorithm has just received an upgrade! After many months of research and development GoodTime has launch our NEW! Flexible Scheduling algorithm!

More than just an add-on feature, the NEW! Flexible Scheduling algorithm has been completely architected from the ground up to be FASTER, SMARTER and above all, FLEXIBLE! What's more, this powerful upgrade has shipped to every customer to completely replace legacy GoodTime scheduling algorithm.

Please see below for an overview of what the NEW! Flexible Scheduling algorithm looks like in action (spoiler alert: while there are only minor changes on the surface, there has been a ton of changes under the hood)! The following table provides an overview of the KEY Points to be aware of as you start to use the new GoodTime Flexible Scheduling algorithm to schedule your interviews:

✏️ Create Interview Page

🌟NEW🌟

- The Private Calendar Event button allows you to set an interview to be 'private' in calendars when scheduled.

- Event Titles are now surfaced within the Interview Schedule pane when creating an interview

- Any $Variables within your template event titles will now resolve within the Interview Creation flow to provide more context when scheduling.

- Total Duration of the interview is now dynamically calculated and shared for additional context.

👌Best Practice👍

- The +Set Availability pane allows you to manually add candidate availability and time zone

- Use the 'Any' order function wherever possible to provide the algorithm the most flexibility when finding results.

🕐 Search Options Page

🌟NEW🌟

- Flexible Scheduling search results will automatically split over multiple days!

- Greater context re interviewer load balancing is now shared within search results.

👉Consistent Features👈

- You have the ability to edit or add to your candidates availability on the left-hand panel.

- You can still filter your results by 'Earliest Start Time' or 'Best Fit'.

- You can also adjust the display time to reflect the interview schedule from different time zones.

📋 Confirmation Page & Dashboard

While the majority of the confirmation page is familiar there are a few key differences:

- If you have chosen to schedule over multiple days your Confirmation email will automatically consolidate the candidate itinerary to list the events over multiple days.

- Candidate Calendar Events can be individually edited for each day.

- The Interview Schedule will also be broken out over multiple days

✏️Scheduling Note📋

- You can still update any of your templated email and calendar events before you Schedule an interview with a candidate (it will not adjust your templates, just this single event being scheduled)

- Each event will be scheduled as a separate event in your dashboard so it can be independently edited (updated/rescheduled/cancelled)
