Optional interviewers

Interviewers added to scheduled meetings in GoodTime as “optional” will have the following characteristics.

  1. They will not appear in calendar event descriptions sent externally, unless they are the only interviewer included in the meeting. However, they will appear in calendar events sent internally to your interview team.

  2. Calendar availability will be considered if there are multiple interviewer options. But if all of them are busy, then one of them will be scheduled for the interview anyway.

    • If there's only one option for the optional interviewer slot, then that interviewer will be scheduled regardless of availability.

  3. They may have GoodTime meetings scheduled over pre-existing events in their calendar.

  4. They will sync back to your ATS as an interviewer. This means they will get a notification reminder from your ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to fill out a scorecard & they will receive a link to complete a feedback form in their calendar invitation.

    • Note: Greenhouse & Lever users have the option to NOT sync optional interviewers back into the ATS. If you'd like to enable this, please reach out to your CSM.
