TL;DR: The GoodTime Dashboard acts as your 'home page' when scheduling in GoodTime. The dashboard is intentionally designed to put the most relevant information front and center. From the Dashboard, you can filter to see interviews based on their different scheduling status. You can also filter the dashboard based on team members, candidates, or specific roles.
A Visual Overview of the GoodTime Dashboard:
🎥 Watch this short video for a walk-through of the key elements of the GoodTime Dashboard:
The Dashboard in Detail:
Who can see the Dashboard?
- Any GoodTime user with 'Member' level access or above will see the Dashboard. Typically this will mean all Recruiters or Recruiting Coordinators will be able to view the dashboard.
- The Dashboard provides a shared view to all Member level users and above. You are able to filter the Dashboard view to show only candidates or interview status relevant to your own workflows.
What does the Dashboard show:
The Dashboard will show at a glance:
- Interviews still to be scheduled (on the left hand side). This is interviews in the Queue, Pick Up, Pending Review, or Pending Candidate Response status.
- Interviews that have been scheduled (on the right hand side). This is interviews in the Hold, Confirmed or Conflict status. You will also see Completed and Cancelled interviews in this view.

- Basic interview detail. Each row on the dashboard reflects an individual interview event. For scheduled interview you will see displayed the Candidate name, Job Stage and Job Name, Candidate Calendar Event Title, Recruiter and Coordinator, Interview date and time, Interview Status and accept/decline status.
- Recent Activity. The top right of your right pane will always sow your most recent scheduling activity (those interviews that have been engaged within the last 15 minutes).
- Interviews Today. A focused view of only events scheduled to occur today.
- Interviews in Next 14 days. Interviews scheduled to occur int he next 14 days. This range cannot be customized.
- Future Interviews. Those interviews scheduled to occur more than 2 weeks away.
- Past Interviews. This is where you will final all completed and cancelled interview events.
Filter by Candidate Name or Email:
Using the filter option in the top left of the dashboard will allow for you to filter to ONLY show the identified candiate (or candidates). This is particularly useful should you wish to review all interviews a candidate has conducted or is scheduled to conduct.
- Filtering by Candidate email is a good way of avoiding search errors when you have multiple candidates with similar names (as candiate emails are always unique).
- When searching by candiate name you will also see a reference to 'Last Updated' time. This is intentionally provided as a candidate who has been scheduled for multiple interviews may have multiple search results. This field allows for you to identify the most recent interview event as you conduct your search.
Filters by Job:
Using the 'Job Filter' option int he top of the Dashboard you can filter the dashboard to show only interviews scheduled in association with the job (or jobs) that you specify). This is particularly useful should you want to review the status of all candidates interviewing for a specific job or role.
How To Filter by Users:
By default the Dashboard will show all interviews scheduled in your GoodTime account. You can filter by your own name or perhaps a different team member in the top of the Dashboard to view only the interviews these users have scheduled. This is particularly useful if one team member is covering for another who is OOO.
Interview Status:
The following article details the different interview status you will encounter in GoodTime: Dashboard - Interview Status NOTE: By default GoodTime will 'hide' interviews in the Completed and Cancelled status. These events have not been deleted, but only removed form the dashboard to increase visibility of the other 'active' interview status. To access Completed or Cancelled interviews they simply need to be toggled-on in the status drop-down menu in the top right of your Dashboard.
Dashboard SLAs
Many companies with large scheduling teams will implement SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to dictate the time in which the scheduling actions should be completed. GoodTime supports the use of scheduling SLAs through the ability to flag the duration events have been in the Queue, Pending Review, Pending Candidate Response, or Hold statuses.
Interviews in the above statuses will include a 'time since...' value to clearly indicate the duration the interview has been in the assigned status. The 'time since...' value will change color from gray to yellow to red based on your set SLA. SLA values can be set within the SETTINGS > Company > Dashboard SLAs menu item
Dashboard Timezones
The GoodTime Dashboard will also read the region settings of your individual browser and present the confirmed time for scheduled interview (on the right-hand pane) in a format that matched your regional settings. In this way users in the United States will see date formats as MM/DD/YYYY, where as users in the EU will see dates as DD/MM/YYYY for instance.
