Queue - Handoff Interview Plans

Last updated: February 26, 2026

Overview / Value

The updated Queuing experience in the GoodTime Chrome Extension allows recruiting teams to fully define interview structure, topics, interviewers, and scheduling request information directly within their ATS. Instead of jumping between your ATS and the GoodTime dashboard, you can now set up interview details “upstream” while queuing—saving time, reducing context switching, and ensuring that coordinators receive a complete, well-structured request before scheduling begins.

This enhancement builds on previous autofill improvements and brings the powerful interview-setup capabilities of the GoodTime dashboard directly into the Chrome extension workflow.

🎥 Please see the video below for a short overview of this feature in use:

1. Full Interview Plan Editor in the Extension

You can now configure the interview plan at the same moment you queue a candidate:

Set interview topic Add one or multiple interviewers Define duration Specify the interview order Use tags to structure the interview flow Populate event titles using selected interview templates. This mirrors the dashboard’s interview plan capabilities, now available without leaving your ATS.

2. Improved Scheduling Request Form

Your scheduling request form is surfaced directly in the extension—pre-filled with your previous answers but fully editable:

Update competencies Note communication style Adjust physical requirements Add any additional recruiter notes. GoodTime automatically pulls round-up details and other structured data, making your request clear and easy for coordinators to action.

3. Better Notes in the Dashboard

Once queued, the dashboard displays:

A clearly formatted Interview Plan Note, including titles, topics, interviewers, and durations All Scheduling Request Form responses Automatically applied interview template details

This ensures coordinators have the full context they need at a glance.

How to Use It:

Step 1 — Open the Candidate in Your ATS

With the Chrome extension installed and active, open a candidate profile.

The extension loads your previous queuing data for that job, stage, and user.

Step 2 — Configure the Interview Plan

In the new editor panel, you can:

Enter the interview topic Add one or more interviewers Set duration and interview order Apply tags or structured elements Confirm template-based event titles

Step 3 — Complete the Scheduling Request Form

Review or update the pre-filled form to give coordinators the key details they need.

Step 4 — Queue the Interview

Submit the queue, and all your inputs sync directly to the dashboard—no rebuilding or retyping required.

Coordinators will see a clean, structured Interview Plan and your completed scheduling request, ready for immediate scheduling.
