TL;DR: The article provides you with an explanation of the integration between Google calendar and GoodTime. This guide is designed to provide context to a Google Admin within your organization. The integration between your Google calendar and GoodTime will typically occur as part of your onboarding process when your initial 'Super Admin' user logs into GoodTime for the first time. Once integration is complete GoodTime will be able to view your interviewers calendar events to determine those times that are available to be scheduled for interviews.
GoodTime uses the Google Calendar API to do the following:
- Read/Write to calendars (write for only events created by GoodTime)
- Read/Write to group or group calendars shared with individuals (write for only events
created by GoodTime) - Get timezone for users
- Get directory information: user’s name, email, and other profile information
Integration with the GoodTime Platform requires each user who wants to access the GoodTime
system to sign in using Google’s OAuth login system. GoodTime authenticates using the OAuth
2.0 API and requires the following permissions from the user.
