TL;DR: As opposed to using only the GoodTime insights tab there is also the option for GoodTime to push all of your raw data to an Amazon S3 bucket so that you or your Data/Business Intelligence team can directly build custom reports from this raw data feed. The option to deliver your scheduling data directly to an Amazon S3 bucket provides you the most direct and secure access to your GoodTime scheduling data. The option to establish an Amazon S3 bucket data feed is only available on GoodTime Enterprise product packages.
S3 Data Bucket Setup:
It would be the responsibility of the customer to establish this Amazon S3 data bucket and then notify the GoodTime data team so that they can push your scheduling data directly to it from our own database. This data will be sent as a raw data feed which your BI team can query directly and build dashboards from. If you already use a data aggregator like Looker/Tableau/Mode/Periscope/etc. this could be an easy option to allow you to build recruiting-specific visualizations or live-updating dashboards that your recruiting team and executive leadership can interrogate directly.
The configuration requirements for the Amazon S3 bucket integration are quite simple:
- Customer creates S3 bucket
- Customer provides GoodTime with Bucket name + Region name
- GoodTime provides JSON snippet to Customer
- Customer to add JSON to bucket policy
- Amazon S3 > Buckets > your-bucket > Permissions > Bucket Policy - GoodTime tests connection
If this is a process that you would like to explore further please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to book a time so that you can meet with the GoodTime Data team to answer any questions you might have and set a timeline to establish this data connection.
