Your CSM will be sharing a project plan with you and providing integration instructions tailored to your needs.As recruiting leads you should be able to integrate recruiting systems including the Applicant Tracking System (Ex. Greenhouse, Lever, Jobvite, SmartRecruiters, Workday, iCIMS) and Collaborate Coding Services (Ex. CoderPad, HackerRank/CodePair, Py) as long as you are the system admin.We recommend working with your IT team and submitting tickets if necessary to get the process started to integrate Slack, Video Conferencing (Zoom, Hangouts, BlueJeans, Teams) and CNAME which allows GoodTime to send emails on your behalf.
Email Integration
Setting up CNAME and DNS simply allows GoodTime to send emails to your candidates from your company domain instead of via no-reply. All you need to do is copy and paste these requirements in your email or ticket to IT.
UPON COMPLETION: Let your CSM know and they'll verify it's been set up properly on the GoodTime back-end.
Creating a Candidate Calendar
(Google Calendar Users Only. This will be done for O365 users automatically through their O365 integration)
Each time an interview is scheduled, GoodTime will create two separate calendar invites:
- Candidate calendar invite
- Interviewer(s) calendar invite
We understand your team will need to provide specific information within each calendar invitation. For example, your interviewer will need a link to the interview kit including the candidate's resume and scorecard/ feedback form. Your candidate will need a prep guide or the interviewer's LinkedIn profile.
Creating a dedicated external facing calendar for the candidate invites allows GoodTime to further automate the interview scheduling process. More here on GoodTime Calendar Overview
As part of the GoodTime set-up process, we recommend creating a new calendar called "[Your Company Name] Candidate Calendar". Here's how you can do that!

If your Engineering team uses a different service depending on the interviewer, this is a way you can align the team and find a single provider. GoodTime will auto-generate the links for them.
Slack Notifications
Your team can setup Slack to notify interviewers of any upcoming interviews and/or create Slack channels for your interviews. You can integrate Slack by going to Settings > Company > Slack Integration > Add to Slack. You can adjust the Slack reminder cadences under Interview Settings.
Please note, this would be in additional reminder to existing calendar notifications or other notifications from your ATS.
