TL;DR: GoodTime will intentionally annotate your scheduled interview events when we identify a calendar conflict - even if that calendar conflict appears after your event is scheduled! These calendar conflict notifications are generated to provide schedulers with greater clarity as to how and when a calendar conflict has occurred.
Watch this launch short Launch video for an overview of this feature:
Types of Calendar Conflicts:
There are three (3) key types of interview conflicts you will see annotated by GoodTime:
1) Conflicting Calendar Event Created AFTER an Interview is Scheduled:
In this situation an interview event is scheduled into an open space in an interviewers calendar (it shows as purple when scheduled). After the interview event has been scheduled a conflicting event is created in the interviewers calendar. GoodTime will flag that a conflicting event was created after the fact.
2) Calendar Event Created OVER a Previously Scheduled Calendar Event:
In this situation an interview event is scheduled over top of an existing event in an interviewers calendar (the option showed as yellow or red when scheduled). In this instance GoodTime will annotate that the event was intentionally scheduled over an existing calendar event and by whom.
3) Transparent Keyword Guidance:
This final form of calendar conflict guidance provides a simple annotation when GoodTime can see that an interview was scheduled due to the use of a transparent keyword. This guidance is particularly useful is GoodTime has inadvertently scheduled over top of a busy event in your interviewers calendar due to their event title accidentally matching a pre-defined transparent keyword (NOTE: we always recommend you make your transparent keywords a unique string of characters so they are not mistaken for other events).
