TL;DR: In addition to report on how many Reschedules and Cancellations your team conducts GoodTime also allows for you to collect more context around the reasons why your interview events are being rescheduled or cancelled. This feature allows your schedules the option of providing a pre-defined reason as they conduct a Cancel or Reschedule action (in-app reporting of these reasons are coming soon).
Reschedule Reasons:
When a GoodTime user completes the reschedule process (as they click the 'Schedule Now' button to finalize their reschedule action) they will receive a pop-up asking if they wish to 'Add a Reschedule Reason'. This Popup will also appear if you adjust the date or time of a Confirmed interview and click 'Update' button.
Adding a Reschedule reason is not mandatory and can be skipped. As your team starts to consistently provide reschedule reasons these will start to be captured and pushed to your Insights tab where they are collated to offer greater insight regarding any reschedule patterns that may exist.
Cancellation Reasons:
As a GoodTime user clicks the 'Cancel Interview' link to finalize their cancellation action they will see an option in the Cancellation pop-up asking if they wish to 'Add a Cancellation Reason'.
Adding a Cancellation reason is not mandatory and can be omitted. As your team starts to consistently provide cancellation reasons these will start to be captured and pushed to your Insights tab where they are collated to offer greater insight regarding any interview cancellation patterns that may exist. NOTE: to Cancel an interview you are still required to type the word 'CANCEL'.
Reason Types:
GoodTime allows for your schedulers to select from a list of 11 different pre-defined reasons. These reasons are divided into 'Interviewer', 'Candidate', or 'Company' categories as well as Other.
By aligning internally on when your scheduling team should use each category it can help you collect these Reschedule and Cancellation reason data in a consistent manner to support further data analysis. These reasons are intentionally pre-designed (i.e. not customizable) in order to support automated analysis and benchmarking.
Where do I see this data?
All of the Reschedule and Cancellation reasons offered-up by your schedulers are collated by GoodTime into the 'Cancellation & Reschedule Reasons' report within the Insights Tab of your GoodTime account. This report is designed to provide a single view of this data to allow you to quickly identify the primary reasons which are driving your reschedule and cancellation actions across the organization.
