TL;DR: The GoodTime Autopilot tool has been intentionally designed to allow for multiple candidates to be engaged via messaging reach-outs and scheduling requests at the same time. The primary use case for this functionality is so that you may intentionally 'block' your process and push a large volume of candidates through the stages of your hiring process at the same time.
Imagine hiring for a high volume role and being able to reach out to 100+ candidates who have all been pre-screened to book time to meet with one of your recruiting team. The ability to engage candidates at scale is one of GoodTime Autopilot super powers!
Two Different Bulk messaging Use Cases...
USE CASE 1: Enhancing Candidate Experience
Imagine a scenario where you are looking to hire only 2 people for a very competitive Data intern role. You have multiple candidates who are in the process of being interviewed and the Hiring Manager is taking his time as this goal will be for one of these hires to convert into a FT position.
Recognizing that this role is taking some time to hire for, and not wanting the candidate to have a poor experience, you have decided to send a weekly recap/reach out to all candidates who are still in process for the role.
- You can easily do this by going to the 'Candidate Inbox',
- Selecting the candidates you wish to engage by clicking on the checkbox by their name,
- Craft a personalized update message (use a $variable where necessary),
- Click on 'Send Bulk Message',
- Craft and send an update to all selected candidates immediately
- In a few short clicks you have updated a group of candidates in bulk and helped to maintain a strong candiate experience.
NOTE: If you don't have a cell number for all candidates you can still send a bulk message and GoodTime will default to using email where no cell number is available.
USE CASE 2: Managing High Volume Roles
The second, and much more powerful, use case is to use the 'Job View' to track the status of candidates as it relates to a specific role. Through the job view, you can see all candidates in a specific role and stage, and send custom update messaging to them all at the same time.
Many recruiters choose to use the Job View as a very intentional way of structuring their recruitment process. Once all candidates are screened and moved to the next interview stage (Face to Face in the example below), you can reach out in bulk to all candidates and share an automated booking link.
For a role with a small amount of candidates it is a great way of administering the recruitment workflow to ensure no candiate is left behind and ensuring transparency in the process. For a role with many candidates (100s of candidates even) it can be a crucial in helping you manage a high candidate load whilst maintaining a strong candiate experience!
