Signing up for the Autopilot Email Service:
If you wish to engage candidates using email via the GoodTime Autopilot+ tool (found in the AUTOMATION tab) you will need to sign in using your work email (Google or Outlook) using our authentication service. This provides extra permissions that allows you to send and receive emails to candidates from GoodTime. To send emails to candidates via the GodTime AUtopilot tool you will need to do the following:
- Click on the AUTOMATION tab in your navigation
- Find a candidate you wish to message
- Click your name to un-filter your search, then search for a candidate name
- Click on Email tab
- Click to sign into Google or Outlook
- Follow the authentication workflow and check to provide all permissions on the screen
- After completing you will be taken back to GoodTime

Overview of Key Email Features:
- Open candidates right from your ATS. Click 'Message in GoodTime' and you'll be able to create a candidate and start messaging (via SMS/WhatsApp or Email)
- Compose new Emails to candidates
- Cc, Ccc, and create custom subject lines to your candidates
- Leverage variables such as $Candidate.firstName
- Utilize the toolbar to format your emails such as bolding, italicizing, hyperlinks, numbered list, etc.
- Receive Emails from Candidates
- When candidates respond to your emails, you will receive a notification in your chrome extension and messenger
- You will be able to reply, or compose a new email thread to the candidate
- Interview Scheduling
- You can create a new interview template to a specific Job/Stage
- You can select your interview criteria inside of the messenger such as
- Interview Duration
- Type of Interview e.g. Onsite, Zoom, Phone call
- Candidate communication language
- Reminders and confirmation messages will be delivered to the candidate with the language you select
- Interviewer(s)
- Availability
- Email content that will be sent to the candidate to request them to schedule
- Email Templates
- You can create Email templates for yourself or others to use to speed up candidate communication
- After clicking compose or reply, click on the 'lightning bolt' quick menu, and select Message Blurbs
- Create a re-useable template including items such as:
- Custom Subject Lines
- Formatting e.g. bolding, italicizing, numbered lines, etc.
- Cc and bcc email addresses
- Name your Email template to find it next time you want to send this message out
Known Issues:

Underlining for emails does not currently work

Hyperlinks not working in chrome extension

CC and BCC replied emails display to user as coming from the candidate

Replies from candidate or other users with formatting (bolding, italicized, underlines, etc.) will not display

User who opened candidate is displayed as the sender of the email instead of the original user who sent the email
