TL;DR: The GoodTime Request Availability workflow is used whenever you want to reach out to a candidate to confirm the dates and times they are available to interview. Using the GoodTime Request Availability workflow you'll also have the opportunity to either review the availability a candidate has provided before scheduling their interview into a calendar or to set the interview to schedule automatically.
How To: Request Availability
- Open your candidate in GoodTime
- Click the teal "Request Availability" button to start your request availability workflow!
- Ensure your candidate is in the appropriate job / stage
- Select your interview template (if not already linked)
- Check the availability window you will be sharing with your candidate
- Review your Hiring Team, if incorrect update
- click 'Continue' in the top right
- Review your outgoing email correspondence
- Confirm there is ample 'Available Interview Slots' for the candidate to choose from.
- Click Request Availability
- Once the above steps are completed your candidate will be reflected in the 'Pending Candidate Response' status in the GoodTime dashboard until they provide their availability.
NOTE: Should you wish to schedule an event automatically you could also have chosen in the above workflow to have toggled OFF the 'Require Review' setting and have allowed GoodTime to schedule the interview automatically.
