GENERAL FAQ:
Q: How do I get access to the new 'Autopilot' Scheduling Tool?
A: If you are a Greenhouse customer and you can already see the 'Message in GoodTime' button then you only need to reach out to hv@goodtime.io in order to have your SMS number assigned so that you can begin messaging candidates directly from your GoodTime dashboard or Chrome Extension.
Q: What does it mean to be in BETA?
A: GoodTime Autopilot is in Beta testing for some of our ATS partners, meaning that it has been released to customers for use but we are still actively developing this product to become its most amazing self! GoodTime Autopilot fully supports the Greenhouse and Workday ATS and is currently being NETA tested for some of our other ATS partners (Like Lever and soon(ish) SmartRecruiters). All customers can access a free version of Autopilot that has some usage limitations (such as a cap of 25 SMS messages per user per month, or only 1x URL booking link). For use above this cap you will need to upgrade your GoodTime HIRE product package by adding additional Autopilot seats.
Q: Is there a cost associated with the new 'Autopilot' tool?
A: The Autopilot tool is free for use up to a point. All of your users can send up to 25 SMS, MMS, WhatsApp or email messages per month to your candidates via the HighVolume tool, and can have a single URL booking link active. If you are finding value in this new tool we ask that you reach out to your GoodTime CSM or sales team to discuss upgrading your existing GoodTime contract to support a greater quantity of messages per user per month (maybe 100, 200, 600 or even more!) The GoodTime Autopilot tool is charged as an add-on to your HIRE account on a per-seat basis with pricing starting as low as $50. per user per month.
SMS/Text and WhatsApp FAQ:
Q: Why do I see a 'Message in GoodTime' button in my Applicant Tracking System?
A: With the recent update of the GoodTime Chrome Extension to support our new Autopilot scheduling tool you will now see this button appear in your Applicant Tracking System.
Q: What telephone/cell number will my candidates see if I message them?
A: In order to SMS message candidates via GoodTime we will assign your organization a cell number to utilize when messaging. The same cell number will be shared by all of your GoodTime users who may message a candidate. This telephone/cell number will be used exclusively by your organization only.
Q: How do I see the messages I send to my candidates?
A: All of your messages sent to candidates will be captured in both the GoodTime Chrome extension as well as within the new 'communications' tab within your GoodTime account. Just as your GoodTime Dashboard is a shared space that all your GoodTime users can see, so too, your communications tab is a shared space where any SMS or WhatsApp messages you send to a candidate can also be seen by other GoodTime users. This is done intentionally so that any GoodTime users can step in to continue communicating with a candidate should the original user be unable to continue the conversation.
Q: How do I get access to message candidates via WhatsApp?
A: Please reach out to hv@goodtime.io if you would like to establish a WhatsApp contact number to message your candidates directly via GoodTime. For context, WhatsApp often provides an easy way to message candidates who are based in a different country to your scheduling team.
Q: Do we need to have a WhatsApp account to use this feature?
A: WhatsApp is owned by Meta/Facebook and as such, your company is likely to already have access to a WhatsApp account via your 'Facebook for Business' account. To take advantage of the ability to message in WhatsApp the owner of your Facebook for Business account (this person usually resides in your marketing team) does need to contact hv@goodtime.io to activate your WhatsApp connection.
