Deactivate a GoodTime Meet user and Disabling Booking Links

Last updated: July 28, 2026

When a team member leaves your company, it's important to deactivate their GoodTime Meet account to ensure their booking links are no longer accessible to candidates or other users.

Important Note on Archiving

GoodTime Meet does not automatically deactivate a user's account or booking links when they leave your company. You will need to take action to ensure their links are disabled. Once a user's account is archived, all booking links associated with that account will become inactive and will no longer work.

How to Deactivate a Departed Team Member's Account

The process depends on whether the user still has access to their account:

  • If the user still has access: They can delete their own account from within the platform.

  • If the user has already left: You must contact GoodTime Support to archive the account for you.

    • To request this, reach out to the support team and provide the email address(es) of the account(s) you need to deactivate.

    • The support team will archive these accounts, which immediately disables any booking links tied to them.

What to expect after an Account is Archived

  • The user's GoodTime Meet account will be archived.

  • All booking links previously generated by that account will become inactive.

  • Anyone attempting to use those links will no longer be able to book a meeting.
